This RARE covered casserole is in the 1970 PROMOTIONAL PATTERN Midnight Bloom. The pattern features a solid blue dish with a black opalware lid. This design is in contrast with the popular bright colors of the other PYREX designs in the 1970’s. The “gloss” lid is unusual since Pyrex black is typically “matte”. Measurements are 10” x 7” x 4”. The interior is pristine ( I don’t think my mother actually used this dish) there are some minor scratches on the cover from packing and moving. See photos. A true find for the PYREX collector.
