If you are familiar with Santos cage dolls this is what I fashioned this in the likenes of. I used all salvaged, vintage, antique, or pre-owned items to make this one-off-a-kind doll.
She has vintage book pages adordned with pearls and a vintage butterfly broach for her wings. She is an antique porcelian doll head that her eyes open and close. I think her eyes are glass. Her hands are also porcelian. Her body is cloth but filled with something that is heavy, possibly sand, so she sits upright.
She has vintage lace for her dress and a real crystal from a chandalier inside her cage. Her cage is an old lampshade frame. She has a vintage pin attached to her chest for her heart. Her crown was made from metal from a decrotive frame I took apart. The base is salvaged wood. Her nest could easily display small things throughout the year.
She us about 14" tall
Wings are at least 12"
Base is detachable.
I made her for others to love too, so hopefully she can find a home.
