The Electro-Voice EVIDC10.1 10-Inch High-Power Ceiling Subwoofer - Pair is a complete low frequency ceiling subwoofer package. The EVIDC10.1 is designed to augment the low frequency response ofany EVID ceiling speaker. The package consists of a bezelassembly, grille, rear enclosure, 10-inch loudspeaker andinternal line-matching transformer. The EVID C10.1loudspeaker utilizes a 2nd order crossover network to provide the correct bandpass frequency response for use with anyEVID Ceiling loud speaker. The C10.1 utilizes a transformerthat offers a selection of 7.5 (70-V only), 15, 30 or 60 wattsdelivered to the loudspeaker system using either 70-V or 100-V lines, or 8 ohm bypass. Selection is via a convenient switch onthe front baffle. The perforated grille is finished in semi-glosswhite powder-coated enamel. The baffle and bezel areconstructed from UL 94V-0 rated ABS. The rear enclosure isconstructed from zinc-plated, heavy gauge steel. The rearenclosure, with fiberglass damping material, provides anoptimum internal volume for extended low-frequencyperformance. A rear cover, with provisions for a junction box fitting, provides access to a 4-pin terminal block that allowsdirect connection to the speaker with 12 gauge wire andprovides full-range pass through to additional speakers. A tilebridge is included for safe suspension of the C10.1 ceilingsystems in a drop ceiling that uses mineral wool, or other fiberbasedceiling tiles. The EVID line of ceiling speakers has beendesigned to work together as a complete system in a widerange of different ceiling constructions. They provide widedispersion, high-efficiency, high-maximum output, ease ofinstallation, and wide-range reproduction of music.
