Beautiful hand-embellished purse in the style of late Victorian–Edwardian evening bags, likely crafted in the mid to late 20th century (1960’s-1970’s). Features ivory satin fabric richly decorated with raised floral ribbon embroidery, faux pearls, sequins, and ornate gilt appliqués. Front and back are both adorned, with long glass bead fringe and a matching beaded tassel charm. Finished with a braided floral strap and lined interior.
Measurements: approx. 10.5” long incl. fringe (7” body), 4.5” wide, 1” deep, 23” strap drop. Opens with gilt clasp, interior lined in ivory.
