This is a gorgeous Lladro "Donkey In Love" masterpiece vintage figurine. It was first introduced in 1970 and retired in 1983. The item number is #4524. It was designed by Fulgenio Garcia. This incredible piece depicts a beautiful donkey that has his ears straight up, a daisy with white petals and yellow flowers. The flowers have the names in Spanish "yes" or "no' on them. Apparently, the donkey is in love and wants to know if his Jenny loves him too. Under one of his hoofs there is a petal with the word "no" on it. The donkey is brown with white around its face and paws. There is some stunning blue on top and back of his mane. It has long ears that are standing up and a large main. The donkey is laying on the ground, looking very happy in love. It is a hand painted, handmade figurine that that was created in Spain. It measures 5" tall and 5 5/8" wide. It's in great condition. No original box. Last know retail price is $730.00.
