Antique Black Suede Victorian Edwardian Lace Up Boots Petite Size 5

These beauties are in great condition! It appears there may have been a repair at some point but I cannot confirm that. The break in the long laces is so charming to me as is the nails in the soles.

They seem to be for a petite women as they are about a size 5 but then again I can’t be absolutely certain of the size.

Anyways, these are a piece of history, can you even imagine the paths they have travelled?!!

During the early 1900s, people began to use animal anatomy to describe cool things. While bee’s knees has stuck around a bit, other phrases such as eel’s hips, frog’s eyebrows, and the antelope’s tonsils sadly have been mostly lost to time.
