Vintage Mid Century Modern (MCM) Italian ceramic wall plaque made in Italy by Giovanni Petucco, features a British Queen's Guard.
This is a beautiful Giovanni Petucco hanging ceramic tile plaque featuring the Queen's Guard (or "Beefeater”), wearing the traditional bearskin cap and red jacket.
-Mid Century Modern (MCM), circa 1960's.
-Charming period representation with 1960's "slacker" slouch, bell bottom uniform, and platform shoes.
-Has a hanger wire on back
Tile is labeled and numbered: “Italy 17/155”, on the reverse (back) side.
Approx size: 17”H x 5”W x 3/8”Thick
