Gorgeous 1950-s figurine of a beautiful parrot sitting on a tree branch, on a pedestal. The parrot has blue plumage and yellow chest. This hand made and hand painted figurine is modelled with great realism and attention to detail and hand painted in vivid realistic colours at the famous Wagner & Apel factory from Grafenthal, Thuringia, Germany.
Stamped to the bottom with the export blue crown mark and sign GDR that was used in the 1950s and embossed with design number 602.
The figurine is in an original condition, with no chips or cracks. Please refer to the attached photographs for the detailed description.
