[About Great Zaurus]
In the late 1970s, known as the third monster boom, Popy launched the 'Great Zaurus Series' and 'King Zaurus Series' (available from 1978 to 1981).
This collection toy was produced by "Popy," a group company of Bandai.
The most notable feature of the series is the molded footprints on both feet of all characters.
As a result, this series was also referred to as the "Footprint Series."
It was developed alongside the Ultra Monster Series and Toho Monster Series.

At that time, Great Zaurus was available in giant size, featuring only selected characters from the King Zaurus Series.
Great Zaurus Godzilla was later modified into lamps and phone stands, appearing in fancy shops.

This time, as part of the Godzilla 70th anniversary project, we faithfully reproduce the historic Godzilla soft vinyl "Great Zaurus Godzilla," revived with new molds.
The first release comes in a two-color version.
