This is a wonderful handbag from the 1930s. It is very summery. It has a bakelite plastic frame with a chunky kiss clasp. It has a fabric handle with beading on the top side. The main fabric is an off white. it has vertical patterned stripes in blues, red, golden yellow and a jade green. The pattern is geometric and abstract, some of it is a double helix style. Over the top, in certain places, are opaque bright white beads in a squiggle pattern. It is lined with a cream ribbed fabric and an internal pocket. It also includes a packet of vintage hairpins. They were in the bag and so are staying in the bag. The shape of the body of the bag is a sort of trapezoid, wider at the bottom than the top. It will fit your phone.
It measures 4 inches across the top, 12.5 inches across the base and is 7.5 inches tall excluding the clasp. The handle adds another 5.5 inches height.
