Beautiful early 1900s Art Nouveau–style mantel clock with ornate floral detailing, curved side scrolls, and a unique hinged storage compartment in the base. Heavy, solid, and very sculptural — a great statement piece for a bookshelf, entry table, or Victorian-inspired décor.
Clock face is marked “Made in U.S.A.”, likely by one of the early American clockmakers who produced French-style cases. The finish is a warm gold tone that gives it an elegant antique look.
Condition:
• Mechanism appears original (Does not appear to be working)
• Storage compartment opens and closes (no fabric inside)
• Vintage wear consistent with age (back hinge has small issue (see pic)
