Vintage amethyst sterling silver dangle earrings. Acquired from a private estate collection, these elegant earrings feature genuine amethyst gemstones cut in a generous high-dome oval cabochon. The stones are bezel set in solid sterling silver and suspended from classic ear wire hooks. The open back settings allow light to pass through for a vivid purple color when worn (deeper color when off the body in low light; see image in hand). Stamped 925. 1.25” length and 0.5” width. Good pre-owned condition with natural patina and surface wear commensurate with age.
