*The first painting depicts a Native American woman dressed in a shawl and traditional regalia tending fire while carrying her infant child on her back. Immediate scenery includes an adobe home, dried chile peppers, wheat and grasses, cactus and desert fauna with a distant dry mountainous landscape.

In this painting, the peppers, woven basket, baby and cradleboard, as well as all the wooden accents (ladder, pieces on the home, and the logs in the fire pit) are all 3-D.
