Beautiful antique ormolu (gilt metal) woven basket, approx. 1.5 inches, likely made between 1900–1915. Features hand-shaped metal strips in an openwork weave with a twisted handle, giving it the delicate craftsmanship typical of early German or French miniature metalwork. Includes an original period card marked 1903–1913 with a monogram, adding historical provenance.
This tiny basket works wonderfully as an antique feather tree ornament, Victorian/Edwardian dollhouse accessory, or a decorative miniature. Aged patina and wear consistent with true ormolu of this age. Lightweight and highly collectible.
