Contains elements of BDSM / masochism / S&M / sadomasochism in a rich and vast fantasy setting. An increasingly scarce and collectible early hardcover edition with original cover art. A cult classic of the genre. Jacket protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Boards straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is faintly split in a few gutters though spine is straight and binding remains strong on the whole. Some soiling to outer edges of text block with some sparse liquid damage near edges of pages. On and around page 68 has some small holes and a bit of staining. See photos for condition.
