AO American Optical General Pilot Gold 62[]14 Curved Tip Original Glass Lenses

American Optical AO General Pilot Gold 62[]14 curved tip aviator sunglasses with the original non-polarized glass lenses, military issue, no logo. The 14 mm nose bridge is a tight fit, not suitable for large noses. The frames are original Gold aviator frames that were issued to Naval Aviators in the 60-70’s. They have been disassembled, cleaned, and straightened back to original specifications. The temple tips have been removed and cleaned. They are very good, see pictures. The nose pads are AO original, and clean. The gold frame rates a 8/10, with very little wear. The 62 mm glass lenses are outstanding, hardly used, rating a 9/10. The frames are 5.8” wide. Please use that as a guide, with a pair of glasses that fit your face, to make sure these will fit your face. Please do this before you bid. The frames are extensively detailed, but they are not new. I do my best, but I cannot make them new. Comes with the original case.
