Rare set of blue Wedgwood placemats made in Belgium - these are vintage, but I don't know how old they are, maybe 1980's? They are super luxe with a needlepoint-like design with velvet brocade made from rayon, cotton, & metallic thread. They have a rug or carpet-like look with a nap if rubbed one way or another & are bordered by ornate metallic trim. The pattern is of roses in many shades of blue. Placemats are in good condition - there is a bit of color shading between them - some are lighter than others as shown in the overall picture. There are a few very faint stains on the front that my camera had a hard time picking up & there are a couple on the backsides which don't show on the front. Some have original manufacturer & price tags on the back. About 16x20 inches.
