These unfortunately have been played with; some of the clear stones show a little glue residue at the ends. The gold plating seems to have been repainted in some areas and shows some cracking. Both clips are signed, but not very clearly. I have seen others where the signature looks clearer. The pin holder is marked and has the patent number. These have been stored for many years by a collector, and it's unclear how they were stored, but this is not the cleanest duette I've seen. Both clips work well and fit nicely into the holder, which could use some cleaning.
Please look at all the photos, as they are part of the description. I try my best to point out any flaws.
Also please remember this is a preloved piece and may show signs of light wear, marks, scratches, etc.
