Up for sale is a highly collectible trio of vintage Japanese menko cards featuring Hall of Famer Fumio Fujimura, one of Japan's most legendary baseball players! This lot includes vintage baseball cards from the following sets:

JCM 48: 1948 Headshot/Baseball Back 1
JCM 200: c. 1950 Triangle Back
JCM 95b: 1948 Baseball Player Back

Fujimura was a standout in Japan’s baseball scene during the mid-20th century, excelling both as a hitter and a pitcher over 22 seasons. Nicknamed "Mr. Tigers," Fujimura was the face of the Hanshin Tigers and left an indelible mark on the league. His #10 was retired by the team. Some of his key achievements include:

Induction into the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame (1974)
Held the Japanese single-season hit record (191 hits in 1950) until Ichiro broke it in 1994
