Absolutely stunning fine china plates by Johann Haviland (best known as a Limoges designer and founding family descendant), in Bavaria, Germany. This pattern was in production from 1953-1990, and was considered some of the highest quality, affordable china in America.
These particular plates are in excellent condition, with a shiny finish, no cracks, chips, significant scratches, or crazing. ONE ONE of the dinner plates has a purplish mark that I am unable to get off, but I believe is a stain from some colorful fruit, veggie, or sauce.ave *not* tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, which would probably do the trick. (But I might, if I have a chance this week, and if so, Ill update this listing.)
