Authentic U.S. Army M1955 wool service coat, size 39R, Pattern Date 20 June 1955. Heavyweight 100% wool, labeled "Coat, Man's, Wool, Serge, Army Green 44." Manufactured by Cherubino Petti & Co., Inc., Contract No. QM-6521, dated 15 Nov 1955, issued through the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot. Lined interior with rear vent and classic mid-century Army construction.
Features a full set of original insignia worn by a career Master Sergeant who served in both WWII and the Korean War.
SLEEVE & SHOULDER INSIGNIA:
• Master Sergeant rank chevrons (three chevrons + three rockers)
• Six overseas service stripes (18 years of service)
• 5th U.S. Army shoulder patch (A-5 design)
• 4th U.S. Army shoulder patch (red with yellow lightning bolt)
