What an awesome find this is! Jeannette Glass Buttons & Bows (also referred to as 'Holiday') pitcher with 7 glasses, in the famous pink Jeanette was known for.
We've come across one other set like this, but it had fewer glasses. This is the largest Buttons and Bows pitcher set we have found.
We wondered about the pattern name and did some digging. "Buttons and Bows" was a popular song with music written by Jay Livingston and lyrics by Ray Evans. The song was published on February 25, 1948 by Famous Music Corp., New York.
Jeannette Glass was made to last and you can still use this set everyday, special occasions, or just display it for all to see.
Sold as a set with the pitcher and seven glasses, there is an eighth glass free with the set that has a chip on the rim. The chip is small, but it is there. Still very usable and does not take away from the display.
