Beautiful vintage Gotek studio pottery coffee/tea service from Colonia Tovar, Venezuela, clearly signed on the undersides.
Gotek was a small studio founded by German ceramicists in Colonia Tovar; their pieces are known for thick stoneware walls, modern shapes and bold glazes.
This set features their classic two-tone look: a rich, matte dark brown base with a warm tan / caramel drip glaze. The set includes the original ceramic warmer, which is rarely found intact and adds strong collector interest.
