This beautiful antique photo album, dating back to the late 1800s, is a remarkable piece of 19th-century photography history. It holds 19 original tintype portraits and features an ornate, embossed leather or faux-leather cover with classic Victorian design and a rich, aged patina. Only one picture is damaged and there are a few faded.
A wonderful collector's item or decorative display piece, this album shows age-related wear consistent with its history. Please note the spine is partially detached, and there is some fraying and edge wear. The pages and tintypes also show significant signs of aging, rips and tears with scotch tape holding the pages together in some places.
