These chunky, hand crafted repousse brass beads are adorned with intricate inlaid turquoise, red coral and blue lapis chips. The beads were probably made in Nepal by Tibetans or Nepalese artisans specializing in this type of metal work. The beads are thick gauge metal but hollow, so this is not as heavy as it appears and yet the beads won't dent easily either and have been designed to fit nicely into a necklace, so it hangs gracefully. Recycled red glass10mm x 8mm rondelles used as spacer beads and repousse beads measure 24mm down to 16mm, length of the necklace is 20 inches
