Vintage Belle Epoque Simulated Sapphire Diamond Ring with Paste Stones Sz 6.75
In excellent condition, a stunning statement ring featuring a large faceted oval sapphire color glass stone surrounded by a row of clear glass paste stones framed by a carved setting. The carved area is enameled black, in the style of Taille d'Epargne.
The setting measures 1 1/16 of an inch north-south by 7/8 of an inch east-west. The center of the stone rises 5/16 of an inch above the hand. The shank has a stepped pattern and the band is 1.2mm wide.
The beautiful faceted oval sapphire blue stone measures 5/8 inch (16mm) by 7/16 inch (10mm).
The condition is excellent, there is absolutely no damage, just a bit of patina. Unsigned.
The oval setting measures 1 1/16 inches (27mm) by 7/8 inch (22mm).
