ONE OF A KIND !!! I could not find any previous sales for this particular sign/expression. Vintage George Nathan Associates, stamped No, 408 from 1974 wooden sign makes me laugh EVERY time I read it.
Crafted from one piece of solid wood distressed and lettering reminiscent of the early 1900s, including intentional paint wear on some of the letters. George Nathan Associates was located at 325 Valley Street, Providence, Rhode Island and was in business from the 1960s to mid-1970s. Their signs are well known for their fun and witty phrasing.
