I put it together and tested - it works but did not run start to finish due to connection issues. There is rust on some of the pieces - I believe it is possible to be restored if you sand off the rust. Comes with several cars - 4 controllers - 2 power sources. Pieces are all there from my understanding - not sure all of the cars are part of this set but comes with several. Some are in better shape than others.
