Time to part with my 55 cm Palo Alto racing frame bike from early 80s. I bought it directly from PA in 1980(?) via their mail order catalog. Rode it for a number of years and garaged since.
The PA road frames were hand made in Italy by Biemmezeta (BMZ) marked by BMZ on the bottom bracket with Columbus double-butted tubing throughout and branded for PA. It has the original paint job and decals. It shows some wear from riding and long term storage. Equipment includes a mix of original and later components:
Campangolo shifters, Modolo levers and brakes, Ofmega crank and chainrings, Suntour front derailleur, Shimano Dura-Ace rear derailleur, SR Royal stem, Avocet headset, Sakae Custom handlebar, Vetta Jet saddle, Mavic Open Pro wheels, and 6-speed cassette.
