Nice hard to find stoneware jug stamped S Twitchell.
I haven't found much under that name but found others attributed to G.S. Twitchell.
Believed to be from 1850s
There is a spot that is stuck on to it, may be from manufacturing if another piece was too close to it but unsure. I didn't attempt much to try to remove it.
The cork is broken off pretty flush with the top and I have not tried to remove it.
No cracks or chips noticed.
