This is a British Army 1st Battalion, The Royal Green Jackets (1 RGJ) "The Bears" shoulder flash/patch.
The patch on the right sleeve shows three gallons (cheurones) pointing down. In many armed forces, especially those that use the DPM camouflage pattern usually indicates the rank of Sergeant.
