Based on the ad (not included) this seems to be the 1958 Hi Bred Hunter model. Tested with 6 D Batteries.

Rare mid-century model marketed as The Worlds Most Unusual Flashlight. Chrome-tone gun-metal body with cream Plastic (Bakelite ?) ends and sealed-beam reflector bulb.

Advertised as producing up to 66,000 candlepower and featuring the Forward Ray and Diamond Facet Reflector design for an exceptionally bright beam.

Measures approx. 18 long, 4 diameter at light end

Polished gun-metal finish with ribbed detailing and sliding switch

Early sealed beam lamp design (pre-Maglite innovation)

Heavy construction likely aluminum alloy with Bakelite accents

Made by Dog Supply House, Dept. 12-T, Detroit, Michigan
