Yonezawa Toys ★ Ford Thunderbird Do-Convertible Electric Remote Control Roof Opening Tin Toy

Thank you for viewing. This is a Ford Thunderbird from the 1960s, made in Japan by Yonezawa Toys. I have confirmed its operation: pressing the button on the remote control box after pushing the rear lever causes the roof to retract into the trunk, converting it into a convertible. Pressing the adjacent button causes the roof to come out of the trunk. Also, pulling the rear lever and pressing a button makes it go forward, and pressing the adjacent button makes it go backward. The remote control box has a steering wheel, but the tires do not turn. As it is an old item, there are scratches, dirt, and rust commensurate with its age, but I believe it is in good condition for its age (in my personal opinion). Please check the images and purchase only if you understand. I have also listed the areas of concern below.

○ The front tires are turned to the left, so when moving forward with the remote control, it curves to the left, and when backing up, it also curves to the left (≧∀≦)
○ The opening and closing of the trunk has no problem with the remote control operation, but there is a slight gap when the trunk is closed. I'm not sure if this is the original condition.
