Excellent antique condition, This incredible 1800s mourning necklace qualifies as a muff guard with the beaded portion measuring an impressive 58" in length. Beads measure approximately 8.5mm wide and are constructed of tested molded 100% Vulcanite and hand knotted between, retaining much of their black coloring with some taking on a "crackled" appearance.
