After that, there may be a few more that are barely audible even with headphones, but in any case, they are hardly noticeable and you can enjoy listening comfortably. Produced by Greg Errico, the drummer of Sly & the Family Stone, with Larry Graham (bass), a former colleague, and Neal Schon (former Santana guitarist, later formed Journey), as well as the Pointer Sisters and Sylvester, who was unknown at the time, as backing vocals. Pitchfork later praised this work as a masterpiece, "a groundbreaking funk masterpiece that fuses soul, sex, and hard rock reminiscent of the peak of Sly and Funkadelic."
