This is a 1997 Gold Label Collector Edition "Thai Barbie" doll, from the "Dolls of the World Collection".
The doll is dressed in traditional elaborate and colorful ceremonial clothing worn to perform a traditional Thai dance called the Lakhon. The ensemble features a silky green cape (Sabai) with gold and red accents, an orange form-fitting top underneath the Sabai, a long multicolored skirt with a gold and red belt, a traditional golden headdress, designed to resemble a Thai temple (Wat), a gold ring, gold earrings, and gold bracelets.
It was released by Mattel in 1997.
