Antique LS&S Carlsbad Austria XL Soup Tureen #1645 Pink Roses Green Garland Gold
This is a stunning antique porcelain covered soup tureen from LS&S (Lazarus Straus & Sons) Carlsbad, Austria. It features the desirable Pattern #1645, characterized by delicate pink rose garlands draped over green neoclassical swags and laurel motifs. The piece is finished with hand-applied gold gilt on the handles and lid finial.
Excellent antique condition. some wear potential repair shown on the handle. The porcelain remains bright white, and the transfer/hand-painted details are crisp. Very light wear to the gold trim on the handles, consistent with its age (circa 1895-1917 approximately ).

• Design: Includes the original lid with a pre-formed notch for a ladle.
The base and lid are marked with the blue circular "LS&S Carlsbad Austria" stamp. It also features the pattern number 1645.
