Natural seashell clam shells and pearlized flower brooch, early to the mid 1940s during a time of metal shortages. The shells are hand wired onto a pierced plastic plate, backing a common technique used by Haskell during this period due to material limitations. Some of the wiring is loose and needs to be tightened, but all the shells are there. Haskell did not sign her pieces until the late 40s. 3 1/2"
