Waist measures around a 30 in relaxed, but an XL should accommodate 36-38 inches (per their website) - the elastic band is wide and very stretchy. However, if you like a more relaxed fit, you may need to be in the 32-34 inch waist range. Longer 10 in inseam and mid rise. Bounce proof mesh pockets to keep your items secure.
