The perfect addition to a Herend collection, or any festive table. These small, egg-shaped shakers sit on porcelain screw-on bases that are also the stoppers. Each shaker is painted on one side with a pair of birds perched on twigs with a beaded necklace somewhere among the branches. The reverse sides are each decorated with a butterfly or other insect. Both shakers have one hole in the top, the salt shaker is also pierced on the reverse side with 9 holes in a diamond pattern. The bases have a narrow gold band near the bottom edge. Marked on bottom with Herend's blue mark. and hand-numbered 260/RO and 150/RO.
