Approx. 50 Estes Kefauver Family Correspondence Letters.
These are mostly to and/or from his sisters Nora and Nancy to their mother. With some other family or friend correspondence mixed in. There are none from Estes just to and/or from his family. However of course Estes maybe mentioned (however we have not read them). These mostly date to the 1930s and 1940s. Mostly all handwritten however maybe a few typed letters.
This item is from the family estate of Tennessee Senator Estes Kefauver. Estes also ran for President and vice President with Stevenson against Nixon/Eisenhower.
At one time there was a fire in part of his childhood home. So these may have some slight soot staining, discoloration/staining, creasing,, with normal estate wear. Please see pictures/scans for more details.
