RARE 11" Sowerby Sunray Amber Glass Art Deco Fan Vase 1934

This rare, large-format Sowerby "Sunray" fan vase is an exceptional specimen of English Art Deco glass, registered by Ellison Glass Works in February 1934 (No. 790213). It is perfection! Standing at a significant 11 inches in height and weighing over 3 lbs, this centerpiece variant is notably larger than the standard 8-inch models typically found on the market and fewer were made.
​The vessel is Sowerby’s signature Golden Amber glass, a color characterized by its deep, and honey-toned saturation. The hue is most intense at the thick, weighted base and transitions into a luminous, golden glow as it extends through the radial "sunburst" ribbing. The architectural form features sharp geometric lines and a synchronized scalloped rim that refracts light with high-gloss clarity.

Excellent vintage condition with original brilliance and only minor shelf wear on the base. No chips, cracks or scratches noted.
