This is a Royal Worcester Evesham Gold round covered casserole dish. The Evesham pattern, featuring various fruits and vegetables with gold trim, was introduced in 1961 and became highly collectible.
The design is named after the local fruit-growing region near the Royal Worcester factory in England.
The porcelain is durable, oven, and freezer safe, bringing "oven to table ware" to the dining room.
The pattern was produced from 1961 to 2015 and is now discontinued.
Hand washing is recommended to protect the 22-carat gold banding.
