Rare Vintage Royal Stafford "Carnation" Tea Cup & Saucer Excellent Condition
This stunning set, with its vibrant colors and urn-shaped cup, is as beautiful as it is rare. Its Maker's Mark dates it to the 1940's. Royal Stafford was made in England.
The cup measures a petite 2 3/4" from its scalloped rim to base which measures 1 1/2" across. The saucer is 5 1/2" in diameter and the rim is also scalloped.
Both the cup and the saucer have a beautiful thick gold trim
The gold trim disperses to a decorative "dusty" like pattern on the rims (see photo).
Excellent condition: no chips, cracks, or crazing.
As of the 3rd of February, 2025, Royal Stafford has ceased to trade: i.e. the company has closed and has been placed in liquidation.
