Vintage Clear Etched Pressed Glass Apothecary Jar Dome Lid With Finial

This sale is for a very lovely clear edge pressed glass apothecary jar. It is identified by its distinctive vertical rib design on a pedestal base and a dome lid topped with a pointed finial. The vertical rib design also has a vertical etched pattern that are frosted dots. The design is also on the lid. There is a horizontal band at the top rim of the jar that is an etched frosted dot and leaf design. This apothecary jar strongly resembles Heisey line number four six five pattern jar that was made by Heisey between 1915 and 1933. Pieces of this design were later continued by Imperial Glass after Heisey went out of business in 1957. There is no marking for either Heisey or Imperial Glass on this piece, so I cannot definitely confirm the maker. Sometime pieces that are very old lose their stickers. This piece measures approximately 9 inches. By 3.5 inch opening. It is free of any damage. Non smoking, pet free home.
