WOW! What an awesome 17 Piece vintage MCM (midcentury) dinner set! Plates and saucers by Homer Laughlin. Coffee cups and soup bowls unmarked (and different material) but match perfectly!
The Homer Laughlin China Company was a prominent American ceramics producer. Dura-Print, a line of dinnerware produced in the 1950s uses a unique screen decoration technique that allowed patterns to be applied to curved surfaces. The code on the back"53 N 5" indicates the piece was likely manufactured in May 1953.
