Antique European Catholic rosary dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. Features pink Bohemian style millefiori glass decade beads paired with molded devotional composition rose beads, sometimes called chalk beads. The rose beads have a soft matte finish and a dull sound when gently tapped, consistent with early composition materials.
Mixed bead construction is typical of continental European rosaries that were used and maintained over many years. The crucifix is marked Italy and may be a later replacement, which is common on older devotional rosaries.
Not a modern rosary. Shows honest age appropriate wear and patina from devotional handling.
