Vintage Gucci silver bar logo plate double ball chain necklace. 1.5" long sterling silver bar / plate. 'Gucci Made in Italy' was imprinted in the lower front of the plate. It has mostly been worn off and is only faintly visible when looking closely from the right angle. Top back of the bar has hallmarks, A star with 1697 AG and 925 in an oval. The end of the chain near the clasp has a worn interlocking GG Gucci symbol on the front and the hallmark imprint (star w 1697 AG) on the back. 925 is also etched in the tongue of the clasp. The chain is 19" long.
The worn logo on the front is the main call out. It's an older necklace. There are some light scrapes / markings to the finish from wear, moreso on the clasp. There is tarnish in most tight areas edges and between balls of the ball chain. I just needs a good polish,but I haven't have a chance to de-tarnish it yet.
