This impressive, large sterling silver pendant necklace was made by los Ballesteros in Mexico. The pendant measures 2.5” and is made in an abstract shape that if turned sideways looks almost like the eye of Horus in Egyptian cartouches. It is stamped 950 sterling and the hallmark for los Ballesteros is worn but identifiable, and the background at front is full of inlaid abalone shell.
The chain for this pendant is a heavy sterling rope chain, 16-17” long. It is stamped Hecho en Mexico (made in Mexico). Note: the last few pictures were taken before the piece was cleaned and polished.
