1988 Steven Vaubel Modernist Couture Signed Matte Gold Abstract Thick Brooch
Absolutely spectacular, his work is on the same spectrum as Robert Lee Morris, he was part of Art Wear in the 80s.
Had a celebrity following, for his bold, modernist pieces.
Signed in script on the back, with 88.
It has a few imperfections, but remember this is from the 80s, some black small marks here and there.
Light surface scratches which is notorious for this type of plating.
Its a cross between matte and shinny.
It is 3" by 2 1/8", by 1/4" thick.
Fabulous retro 80s piece.
